Welcome in PPCenter !

About this homepage

PPcenter. Arts and craft for my Sega Saturn.
Since 1847 #tripo#

PPcenter was first intended to be a homepage gathering my crappy programs made in basic language for my TI89 calculator when I was high school student.

Few years after that high school episode, I accidentally discovered that games for my beloved Saturn console were made from CPU operands and chunks of miscellaneous data.
It was a great deception for me that was still believing that video game characters and stages were living in CD-R or cartridges and magically started to play when they were put in Saturn game device.

However, I kept believing the story above, and in the meantime I started to learn C programming.

Unfortunately, I decided to make C programming as the main field of my real life job, then discovered that making software for other people was boring.

So in order to maintain my internal balance, I decided I should make Saturn software for me, so that I could gather enough endurance and tolerance towards software programming for others.

By accident, I discovered that I could make Saturn cartridges by myself, so I started to design/solder/test cartridges while making test software for my cartridges.

This page was made by me, cafe-alpha, however, this homepage couldn't have been such without help from some friends :

- aze, who is a friend and also my CSS guru : everything here is beautiful thanks to his help.
- shun, for showing me some tips with Photoshop.

Turing test (*1) :

Note #1 : Please write a valid email address if you want me to reply you.
Note #2 : It may require few days for me to reply to you. Please be patient. And don't re-send the some "did you read my message ?" email everyday : if I don't have time to answer one email, then I won't certainly have time to answer several emails #trigic#
Note #3 : Don't contact me for questions whose answers are publicly available. If your question is about Pseudo Saturn Kai or Saturn cartridges and may help somebody else, then please post it on Sega X Treme > Saturn Dev boards and I shall reply there.
Note #4 : If you want me to fix your Action Replay (or any other clone) and/or to fix support for the poorly dumped game you just burned on a CD-R, then please read this blog article before sending me a message. Generally speaking, it is appreciated to receive Pseudo Saturn Kai related inquiries in Pseudo Saturn Kai official thread on segaxtreme forums rather than being directly emailed : this takes same time for me to reply, and this reply is visible with other users experiencing the same problems #magic#
Note #5 : In order to prove you're not a machine, please enter this homepage's webmaster favorite video game console name in "Turing Test" (*1) field. The name of this favorite video game console fits in 6 letters and is case insensitive.
